Real Estate Phase I Environmental Assessments
  • While providing the highest quality risk management at the best cost, we keep you in the loop during the entire process
  • Some of the best risk management in the country in provided by sending only professionals with experience and advanced degrees to your property
  • Experienced personnel can tell the difference between a real issue and minor issue; entry level technicians "over-sighted' by someone else cannot
  • If an inexperienced consultant does not understand an issue, ofttimes the issue is flagged as a serious problem when, with a little more effort, would show it is not a problem
  • Working as a team, a shortened critical pathway to real estate transaction closure is achieved.

Real Estate Phase II Environmental Studies - Subsurface Investigations
  • Turnkey drilling operations and laboratory analysis through the United States and Canada
  • Surface, subsurface, and ground water sampling
  • Competent strata drilling
  • Push Drilling with ATV or pick up mounted rigs to obtain numerous Phase II investigation samples save time and costs

Underground Storage Tank Removals (USTs)

Turnkey tank removals are completed anywhere, anyhow, anytime; and if you like, we keep you involved in each facet of the removal so you control costs along the way including:
  • Farms
  • Homes: Find out if your tank is unregulated and you can remove it for a fraction of the cost and still comply with all applicable environmental regulations
  • Businesses
  • Abandoned tanks
  • Gas stations

Remediation
  • Soil and ground water clean up of petroleum and hazardous waste releases
  • By deploying a menu of technologies larger firms have turned to us for guidance on extensive ground water problems
  • Solidification and disposal of Non-Haz fluid waste streams where deep well injection or POTW discharges are not acceptable

Legal Consulting for Law Firms
  • Expert witness, forensic research
  • Third party oversight
  •  "Erin Brockovich" style canvasing door to door of neighborhoods
  • Depositions

Ground Water Investigations and Infrastructure

Wetlands
  • Preliminary assessments of wetlands on your property sometimes will eliminate the need for further studies
  • Preliminary mapping of US Fish and Wildlife jurisdictional wetlands on your property
  • Variance letters
  • Full wetland delineation mapping as necessary

Hazardous Waste Management
  • Identification and categorization
  • Consolidation and disposal with access to the most dependable incinerator and disposal facilities in the country
  • Streaming processes to save you time and money
  • Disposal options to keep costs down and production up

NEPA Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Federally regulated facilities fall under the environmental jurisdiction of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
  • NEPA requires an assessment of a broad range of issues not usually required by the normal Phase I Environmental process such as air quality, noise pollution, historic preservation sites, wetlands, farmlands protection, endangered plant and animal species, hazardous and toxic sites, floodplains, and a variety of local societal issues
  • HUD typically requires NEPA studies to accompany the Phase I
  • Other types of projects that require a NEPA study include park and other land swaps or deals involving Federal money and cell phone wireless towers

Indoor Air Quality, Vapor Sampling and Mitigation
  • Not only finding the source of the problem, installation of discrete subsurface vapor extraction systems inexpensively restore air quality
  • Network of indoor air mitigation experts experienced at homes around major U.S. military bases bring the best solution at the best cost

Home and Business Issues
  • Asbestos Assessments
  • Asbestos building demolitions
  • Lead Assessments in Homes
  • Radon Testing
  • Drinking Water testing at home, farm or business. Wells, springs, hydrants, and home faucets are commonly sampled (/ground-water.html).  Tests commonly include Coliform Bacteria, Nitrate, Lead, Chlorine, and any other compound that may be of local concern.

Septic Tank/Leach Field Environmental Impacts
  • Septic system closure and removal
  • Nitrate impacts to drinking water
  • Other tracer studies

Geophysical Studies
  • During the Phase I Assessment, sometimes non-invasive approaches to finding subsurface issues using ground penetrating radar or magnetometers can help you avoid the subsurface drilling
  • If  Phase II drilling is unavoidable, then a geophysical study can focus the drilling effort instead of having someone "swiss cheese" your property with a drill rig

Geologic Studies
  • Phase II Subsurface Investigation coring and logging
  • Geo technical studies to determine suitability of construction
  • Mapping and interpretation
  • Aquifer assessments
  • Mining impacts to the subsurface and ground water
  • Material reserve studies
